It will improve the local economy, increase business and trade, increase government revenue and create more job opportunities. The complex will become a new business center and trading hub in the city, Xie added.

As a major project approved by Xiangtan city and Xiangxiang city, Dongshan International Commercial Center is the only commercial complex planned in the New Town and an important hub that connects the downtown city and the New Town with a population of 10,000.

The commercial center boasts convenient transportation and is next to Qifeng Road, Dongshan South Road, Xicai Road and Dongxing Road. It will be home to high-end apartments, luxury hotels, and Grade-A office buildings. People will have access to services like catering, shopping and leisure activities in the complex.

A total of about 500 tenants are expected to settle in the complex, providing a high-end commercial center in Xiangxiang.
